2015 Chevrolet Malibu LT Review Car hire

2015 Chevrolet Malibu LT Review Car hire -

He was a handsome young man working against the company, but I bought his spiel Upgrade. "You know, if you go to Joliet, there will be many big trucks on the road, I can put you to upgrade to a full size for only $ 15." Thank you, but no thank you, I'll take my Kia and be on my way. But when I met Anthony in the parking lot, I was told; "Mr. Ward, I see that we have for an economy car, but I left. How about this Chevy Malibu?"

"Ka-Ching!" I win, looks like I will save only $ 3 a day for coffee

despite the upgrade, I'm not exactly pumped the Malibu, I hoped a charger or even a 300. I had not tried the Malibu, but previous generations had left me weak. There, the ball shiny silver sitting with just over 13,000 miles. I was in a much better mood than my trip to Houston last month, and the company had managed to get me in and out in less than 15 minutes, including the bus ride from Midway Airport.

So when I got on the stripper 'Boo, I'm willing to give it a fair chance. The trunk had already swallowed my bag and would have taken two full-size bags and probably three backpacks as well.

With the engine running, MyLink connected to my phone is less than 5 minutes and I relaxed on Chicago area streets headed south at Autobahn Country Club. As can be expected, the Chevy was quite comfortable absorbing potholes around the airport. Not exceptionally so, but. I really like the direction. He weighted feeling with a nice sensation on the center. Good feedback; not quite to standard Accord, but this may be a matter of preference.

I relaxed on the highway and started making my way southwest. I did almost 4 whole miles before I met traffic. There, I would stay in one form or another, for the next 2 hours. He gave me a chance to spend some time with the Q path this weekend. As superior I felt when I rejected the offer to upgrade, this car would have been worth the extra money. Large seats Malibu are comfortable and offer a greater range of adjustment of the Altima and certainly more than I econobox reserved. The stereo was pretty good - lots of lockers for things and even a space behind the stereo screen

That night I found myself with three passengers, my 6 'frame the shortest of them ... Despite some criticism of lack of space in the rear seat, the Malibu took all our gear and us to the hotel that night and follow the next day. I actually surprised how the Ecotec handled the extra weight. With only 196 hp, the real benefit is 191 lb-ft of torque through the automatic shift slick 6-speed. You will not win the red light sprints against its competitors (unless Altima), but it does not matter when you quadruple the passengers.

With the upgrade the size, I had to return full tank ½, so I have not seen real numbers fuel. But after driving over 150 miles in a mix of highway and surface, the tank barely crossed the halfway bar. So claimed 25/36 is probably true, which was another pleasant surprise.

This was absolutely the model of the car fleet of cleaner base, but a "build and price" excursion on the GM website says its $ 22,465 before the $ 825 destination fee . He showed 17 in stock units around the Atlanta metropolitan area corresponding to the construction ranging from $ 23,300 to $ 23,0. With $ 2400 down and $ 1000 cash back, the Malibu can be had for $ 294 per month to 1.9%. This puts squarely in the forefront of a Camry or Accord similar price, but slightly above a Chrysler 0 in a Ford Fusion, which is kind of where it lives.

I expect disenchantment because it's what GM sedans have always delivered. But the Malibu surprised me. It is not a bargain market shattering propelling GM up the market, but it is a good competent vehicle at competitive prices in a very difficult segment. It offers good by all measures a car for investment. The clear choice in this segment is really the flavor and aggressiveness of your chosen dealer to put you in their car rather than competition.

This means "Ka-Ching" for those looking to buy in this segment.

General Motors contributed nothing to this review. But the company is rent me the car and offered great customer service to do so. Speaking of great work, how about these photos? No photos of the iPhone shitty for the B & B this time. As I promised my buddy Nick Boris gets credit for every shot.

Christian "Mental" Ward has owned more than 70 cars and destroyed most of them. He is married to the most patient woman in the world, lives in Atlanta and is racing his stupid Nissan truck within 24 hours of LeMons weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park.
