This is a Cadillac car wedged between generations. Intended for a generation, a big car bridge to CT6, there still seems to be the most Cadillac-ish car that GM offers to sell in 2016. Cadillac could want demographic sporty and younger image, but the XTS is not a bad car for the image of Cadillac is is . When the XTS dies 2019 model, more than 20,000 annual XTS buyers (it outsold the CTS in 2015, as well as competitors from Audi and Lexus) could be stuck without a suitable replacement.
